March 8, 2010 - Grand Rapids, Michigan My Friends, The Pisces I've never really been one to be one that's all "into that stuff" but I have to admit at times the characteristics listed of each sun sign can be eerily uncanny. Being a Scorpio myself, there are few that we actually blend well with regarding friendship and trust. That's because we love competition in both work and play, which is why we air it out in sports and games. According to the stars, extreme sports are right up our alley, as is most anything that will test our mettle. We've got to have an adversary, since it makes the game that much more fun. We look best in powerful colors like red and serious black. Scorpios do soften up a bit and are capable of caring and devoted with their lovers, even if they do hold on a bit tight. Scorpios are also lusty in the extreme. The great strength of the Scorpio-born is in their determination, passion and motivation. Scorpios don't know the word quit, which is why they usually get the job done.We are loyal, determinws, courageous and a powerhouse like no other. Out of my closest friends, 90% of them are Pisces. I would imagine that is because they are known to be friendly, charitable, self-sacrificing, and kind--with a natural intuition that works endlessly on behalf of others. Their fault is you have a difficulty in facing reality, so that many times they seem to deceive others, taking the path of least resistance instead of telling the terrible truth. Their rose-colored glasses may flatter others, but they also can lead you to tell lies. They tend to be impressionable or gullible, and need to focus and channel their imaginations creatively. They are the poets of the zodiac. It states that they need a career that helps others, and have a talent for caring. Though not good at organization, they often work selflessly in the background, even though they may be attracted to acting where they can conceal their true personality behind the role. They make exceptional counselors, since they are so aware of the suffering of others. Other careers include a religious vocation, professional musicians, doctors, designing clothes--or doing two jobs at once, in keeping with their dual sign. In business, they make powerful administrators because they're are so in tune with others' feelings. They need variety, but are not overly ambitious. They don't relish change--it brings about confusion and apprehension. They're not good at it, and their imagination works overtime, worrying. Their inner self is always preparing to retreat from the world. They need to always try to seek a balance between your two sides, and to restrain their strong and deep emotions that cause moodiness, introspection, and a difficulty in expressing to others. When their need to escape from the world, to be alone, leads them to the source--the river of life--it can lead to great accomplishments. When they meet up with drugs, alcohol, or other substitutes, you become the prey for others. They need to watch out for their deep sense of pride which may keep you addicted for many years. Happy Birthday to the many people I know and love that have been born under this sign. Too many to list here today.
