Art in Ada Festival

Each year on the 3rd Saturday in May the Ada Arts Council holds its annual Arts in Ada Festival on Bronson Street behind the Ada Township Hall.

Arts in Ada features fine art, fine crafts, prints, photography, live entertainment, food and children.

The Ada Council for the Arts is a nonprofit group so community participation is key to their survival. Ada is a wonderful, cultural place to live and work and the council works hard to nurture an atmosphere that encourages cultural growth.

In addition to the annual Arts in Ada fine art show, here are some of the projects they are also involved in the acquisition of a new sculpture for the Ada Sculpture Trail. Placement of a memorial plaque on the "Dancer" sculpture at Bank One; Upkeep and repair of sculptures on the trail and a photo contest and exhibitions. Last year, just under 50 artists participated.
