Christine Gill and Scott Bell perform at Zeytin

"Zeytin" is a Turkish word, and it means olive. The olive tree, branches and fruit are symbols of peace.This restaurant is an exotic newcomer to the Grand Rapids dining scene. The inside is gorgeously decorated with booths and Turkish pillows and rugs. The lighting is calming and seating is open. A perfect backdrop for the talented duo, Christine Gill and Scott Bell.

I've known Christine Gill for over 10 years. I met her right after the opening of her restaurant, The Sierra Room, which, in my opinion, paved the way for new concepts in the city. On special occasions, Christine would perform. She's a true beauty with a strong voice, long legs and a natural beauty. Scott, I've known since grade school. He's always been an amazing talent both on the stage as an actor as well as performing music. It's a natural these two would come together and in such a complimentary way.
