Cristal Presents an Evening of Glitz & Glam

The Amway presented an evening of style and glamour when they hosted a party featuring Louis Roederer Cristal Champagne in the Imperial Ballroom at the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel. The Imperial Ballroom is a favorite of this diarist and a fitting backdrop for one of the best cyg-nature parties of the year.
The Imperial Ballroom is one of the most unique ballrooms in the city. The space was formally a bank and after it’s renovation has been transformed into a stunning two-tiered ballroom that features a grand staircase, mezzanine and eight massive columns.
In addition to the who’s who of Grand Rapids socialites in attendance, the party featured VIP sections with personal bottle service, event décor by Modern Day Floral, music from local soundscape artist Todd Ernst and a ShutterBooth. The ShutterBooth was making its first appearance at an event like this one and drew quite a line of partygoers.
Tim Motley was in attendance from Grand Rapids Social Diary taking in all the action on film. The social media hosts of the event included Jimmy Le, Laurie Schaal, Paul Jendrasiak, Andrea "SuperDre" Wallace; and special guest host Jerrad Matthew and the models of the Matthew Agency. Models from the Matthew Agency greeted guests as they arrived for the party.
A big thanks to Chad LeRoux from the Amway Hotel Corporation for inviting GRSD to be a part of all the unique and glamorous cyg-nature events.
