Fat Tuesday, Mardi Gras, Carnevale. The day before Ash Wednesday, the start of Lent, is an annual day of indulgence before 40 days of fasting. Destinations the world over are known for their major celebrations, from New Orleans to Rio, Tokyo to Venice. The people at Carnevale Interactive here in Grand Rapids decided that since they share a name with the holiday, that's a great reason to throw a party! Featuring Italian food and wine, a crowd of more than 150 clients and friends celebrated the early evening indulging in delicious catering by Bistro Bella Vita. Live art created by one of Chicago's legendary graff artists, Slang, as well as beads, masks, even tarot added to the atmosphere in their trendy downtown office space.
