Valentine's Day. Little Black Dresses and a challenge given to me by the lovely Claudia Petrelli to get this 40 something, mother of two into a size 2. A beautiful "Maggy London" dress from Paris.

After a week of intense working out, fasting and praying, I did it.

Muse is an inspired women's clothing, accessory and gift boutique. Deciding that amazing boutique shopping shouldn't be a big-city luxury, Muse set out to create something unique in Grand Rapids: a shopping destination with both of-the-moment fashions and timeless collections.

There merchandise is all hand-picked from L.A., Chicago, and New York showrooms. Hip, fun, and relaxed, Muse has a unique selection of clothing and accessories that can't be found anywhere else in Grand Rapids (with some surprisingly-easy-on-your-wallet finds girls!).

This boutique offers a well-edited selection of designer tops, dresses, accessories and perfect jeans (actually an unbelievable selection)!

Basically, it everything you didn't think you could find in Grand Rapids. Muse is housed in a LEED certified (that means 100% green-built) building. How cool is that? The boutique is owned by Grand Rapids native Brynne Roberts.

Thank you to Brynne and Claudia for letting the "Diarist" wear this beautiful dress on loan. My checking account has a little less in it today but I now own one of my favorite Little Black Dresses.
