LinkedUp Grand Rapids Meet Up: HELP-4-HAITI

A gathering of West Michigan professionals took the place of ttheir regularly scheduled meeting to help the relief efforts in Haiti.

LinkedUp Grand Rapids is a social networking group that helps business leaders connect in the Grand Rapids area. During Wednesday night's meeting, the group collected hygiene kits to donate to victims of the Haitian earthquake. They also have a fan page on facebook where they have discussions and plan gatherings.

Michael Yoder is the Linked Up Grand Rapids leader. This group meets every eight-to-ten weeks. By the end of the month, he expects Linked Up Grand Rapids to have 4,000 members.
