HOT-FM (105.3) / Citadel Broadcasting's hosted the second-annual HOT New Year's Eve Party. Citadel reved up the experience with new and exciting activities and more entertainment.

Priscilla Renea, Pop-punk quartet Boys Like Girls, Unkle Kracker and DJ Curtis Avison entertained the 20,000 people up until 11:45 pm.

The city's second ball drop downtown came from Rockford Construction/Westmaas Electric ball. The ball measured 6-feet, 2-inches in diameter, was lowered from a crane to the side of the Rosa Parks Circle stage.

One of the special effects were the addition of a third video screen that projected the stage onto the Grand Rapids Art Museum's facade.

A warming tent sold hot chocolate, glow necklaces and items to keep warm by. There were activities for families all around the downtown area.

Don't miss the EIGHT galleries. Links to them are located below the first eight photos.
